Pousada Paraíso

Rappel at Pousada Paraíso is performed in the big stone of our natural swimming pool. It is about twenty meters of descent, with the peak in negative *, and the end in the water! Activity always accompanied by instructor and ideal for beginners.

* Negative: the rope is hanging down without the need to pull the legs and arms in the stone.

Curiosity:

Technical descent on rope using specific equipment. The decline can occur at waterfalls, buildings, cliffs, chasms, cliffs, bridges and slopes. with the use of climbing harnesses, ropes, carabiners, brakes and sometimes pulleys. It is not known exactly how or when the Rappel activity originated, but the first mention was made in the 19th century by a French climber.
