How to get here

Follow BR-040 Road (Rio - Juiz de Fora) until reaching Km 47. Turn right on a narrow exit just after a Road Signal that says "Pedagio a 500 metros".

Besides that one, there´s another Road Signal, in yellow, that says " Acesso proibido a onibus e caminhões" (which means "Access forbiden for buses and trucks").

This is a very narrow exit allowed only for cars (see the picture above).

Go through the narrow road, cross a bridge and turn left. Now, you are on União e Indústria Road. Follow until reaching km 87 (it´s only a short 4 km drive!). There, pay attention and turn right on a steep road where there´s a large signal saying "Circuitos Pedras do Taquaril" (see the picture above).

Afterwards, just follow the Pousada Paraíso signals. It’s 3.5Km up to the hill.

Distance from Pousada Paraiso to Petropolis´ Historical Center: 40 km.
